In UVU’s Hall of Flags, leaf-shaped papers cover the windows of the Resource Center. Written on each of these leaves is something that a UVU student is grateful for. Why have students done it?
“A lot of people look at exercise and wellness as just something physical, but it really does help in other aspects of wellness. I look at all the aspects of how exercise and nutrition can help me: mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.”
Lexi Soto and the UVU Student Association are moving forward with plans to renovate the UVU Student app with mental health in mind. Although the app is still in its infancy, keep your eyes open! Big changes are coming soon.

There are many benefits to yoga, and they can be yours for free if you are a full-time UVU student. The yoga class helps students “move through relaxing routines to help ease stress, by focusing on breathing and performing fluid body movements.”
Developing a habit of regular exercise can be a challenge. Overcoming this obstacle can provide many health benefits for our overall wellness and lead to a better quality of life.

The Battle Creek Falls Trail is a well-maintained, 4.1 mile, out-and-back trail located in the mountains of Lindon, Utah. Show stopping views, waterfalls, and a river crossing make the hike a perfect start to the fall.
