For students graduating in May of 2024, there are some things that need to be done before making it to commencement. Here are some tips and resources for seniors looking to get their diploma.
Over winter break ten crimes were reported to The Review by campus police. This included three cases of traffic offenses, two cases of criminal mischief, a case of DUI Alcohol, a threatening, a traffic stop, tobacco problem and a case of stalking.

For over 35 years, United Way of Utah County’s Sub for Santa has partnered with local schools and nonprofit organizations to provide gifts for children during Christmas time. UVU is now accepting applications, as well as donations, for this cause.

Michelle Brown, the chair of the Murdered and Missing Indigenous Peoples (MMIP+) organization came to UVU to spread awareness about the ongoing crisis that indigenous peoples are facing.
President Tuminez pledged to raise 15 million by 2023. She announced she had reached that goal.
UVU’s recurring speech series, Degrees to Anywhere, returned on Nov. 15, 2023, with speakers Alicia Turner and Anna Tibbitts.
The UVU Police reported three instances of criminal activity over the last two weeks: one case of theft and two cases of trespassing.
On Nov. 14, 2023, two people were killed and one injured in a plane crash near Kyhv Peak in Utah County. The two deceased were 23-year-old UVU student Collin Niemela and 26-year-old Evan Backers.
The LOVELOUD Pride Festival returned to Utah for the second time since being shut down from the COVID-19 pandemic.
