I was reading the latest issue of the paper and I was pleased to see something out of the ordinary in the sports section: humor. Editor-in-Chief Jack Waters wrote a piece about Ryan Toolson missing two free throws. The idea sounds average at best; however, Waters made me almost snort milk out my nose with his witty humor.

What would Jesus buy (for Christmas)?

Enough. Enough love, compassion, gratitude, peace, loaves and fishes, understanding, inclusiveness, graciousness, light, joy, miracles and abundance for all. And, perhaps because the gifts are offered so freely by one whose intentions are absolutely pure, we within our limited perception as spirits presently embodied, will accept these gifts which we have previously neglected to acknowledge.

What is the best way to hide the fact that you’re drunk from your family at Thanksgiving? -Drink coffee, stay quiet so you don’t say anything out of the ordinary, and so they can’t tell you are slurring your words. -Be sure to brush your teeth before you go and chew gum while there.

Parking at UVU has been a large problem this past semester. There have been more students attending UVU this semester than ever before. Therefore there have been more teachers and they have also needed more parking. This has been a problem for students in the LA building parking lot because it more of their parking spots have been taken up, and it is harder for students to find a spot to park.

Cha-cha is a phone service that will answer any question for you at any time of day. Kind of makes you wonder why you’re spending all that cash on tuition, doesn’t it? The UVU Review will ask Cha-cha important questions every week, starting with what is possibly the most important question of all: What came first, the chicken or the egg? “It’s generally accepted that the egg came first (at breakfast), followed by the chicken (around lunchtime).
