Reading Time: < 1 minute I was reading the latest issue of the paper and I was pleased to see something out of the ordinary in the sports section: humor. Editor-in-Chief Jack Waters wrote a piece about Ryan Toolson missing two free throws. The idea sounds average at best; however, Waters made me almost snort milk out my nose with his witty humor.
I was reading the latest issue of the paper and I was pleased to see something out of the ordinary in the sports section: humor. Editor-in-Chief Jack Waters wrote a piece about Ryan Toolson missing two free throws. The idea sounds average at best; however, Waters made me almost snort milk out my nose with his witty humor. And that’s saying a lot. It was amazing.
The sports section can be dry at times. But Waters incorporated a joke about Guns N’ Roses. Seriously, who jokes about Guns N’ Roses in sports? Or even in a newspaper? This type of humor and original writing makes this paper. So thanks Mr. Editor for your refreshing perspectives.
