After getting off to an ok start in the first day of the opening-season tournament Utah Valley men’s golf team place second over all. The Battle of the Tetons took place at the Headwaters Golf Club in Victor, Idaho, September 1-2nd.

At the end of the fist day UVU was ranked fifth at 12-over-par (588), which was just three shots back of the host Weber State (585). Southern Utah and Wyoming sat at second and third respectively, while Westminster rounded out the field. Utah State lead the tournament both days.

The Wolverines upped their game the second day as J.T Timmons and Blair Bursey lead the team in both days, but still managed to move up the ranks finishing fifth and eighth over all.
