Reading Time: 2 minutes UVU merits To the editor, Having attended two universities before UVU, I have to say that this university does an incredible job catering to its students. I think that it is a joke when people complain about parking, because it doesn’t get any better than this anywhere else.

Even if a resolution is passed after many hours of discussion, it’s not binding because the UN does not have any real way to enforce the resolutions that they pass; they are more like strong suggestions.

With the new additions, one would expect it to be much easier to get around campus; however, many students feel the change was not an improvement. In a recent poll of 100 students, 64 said they feel that instead of just being dropped off at the Sorensen Student Center, they now simply end up waiting for the bus out in the cold.

Laura Carlson, UVU Student Employment Manager, said that there are two main contributors to this problem: first, there are more students competing for the same number of jobs and second, there is a lack of available jobs on campus and in the community.
