Located right across from The Bookstore in the hallway of the Student Center is The Zone. Haven’t heard about it? Every weekday, beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m., a bunch of fun activities are available that all students can participate in – for free.
Offering many different activities every day, from cake decorating to playing the ukulele, The Zone has something for everyone. A favorite activity that most students enjoy is the Monday Morning Waffles from 9-10 a.m. Who doesn’t love free food? The waffles are delicious, you don’t believe me? ask the dishes!
“It is a lot of fun and a great way to meet new people,” said Ryan Edward Kent, one of The Zone leaders. He also spoke of the new Study Zone. From 3-5 p.m. every weekday, they are offering tutors, highlighters, sticky notes and other means to help benefit your studying.
The Zone is an exciting atmosphere that is right in the middle of campus where students can socialize, get to know each other, learn a new skill or just have fun. So if you want to relax and take a quick break from your busy school schedule, be sure to stop by anytime.
