Reading Time: 2 minutes “We eat Jam for breakfast,” is what a sign in the crowd displayed as the Utah Flash kicked off their home opener last week, but apparently it was not on the menu as the Bakersfield Jam beat the Flash in overtime 102-100. It was the first time the two have met since back in April when the Flash dominated on their home court.

The young Wolverine wrestling team will face off unranked against some of the toughest teams in the league. Their first match is against the nationally second-ranked Iowa State this Thursday, a match that will be played out on Iowa territory.

Rugby team picks up where it left off

And it has shown as the returning second place winners of last year’s division II team returns for another year of excellent rugby.

Things were looking up for the girls in the first game as they had a decent lead and won 25-20. The nail biting began in the second when Weber took the two-point win 26-24.

Reading Time: < 1 minute For the first time this season the women’s volleyball team experienced home court advantage and the crowd was certainly a boost. “We have had some tough losses, so it was exciting to come home and do what we know how to,” sophomore Kayli Broadbent said. The team put forth the best offensive attack of the season.
