Aqui y Ahora: Regulación, no control

Dejar hábitos de comer emocionalmente y solo por no tener nada mas que hacer, crear un equilibrio, y redescubrir el verdadero gozo de la comida es algo mas facil de adquirir de lo que algunas personas piensan.

El Programa del centro de salud está combinando los beneficios de un programa innovador relacionado con una dieta, ofreciendo un taller de una serie de seis semanas para estudiantes que deseen aprender a comer la cantidad adecuada de alimentos y satisfacer otras necesidades mentales o físicas de manera más productiva que usar la comida como una solución.

Esta serie de clases dan a los estudiantes la motivación y el apoyo de un entrenador físico en el que aprenderá a dejar de obsesionarse con la comida y el peso.

Los participantes aprenderán cómo estar a cargo de comer en lugar de sentirse fuera de control, como comer los alimentos que desean sin comer en exceso o sentirse culpable. También para aumentar su metabolismo comiendo saludablemente y sin deprivarse de las comidas que les gusta.

El material que se usará en estas series ha sido escrito por expertos como la Dra. Michelle May, MD, fundadora de Am I Hungry, Inc., y autor de Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat; Evelyn Tribole, MS, RD y Elyse Resch, MS, RD, los autores de Intuitive Eating y Roth Geneen, autor de Women Food And God.

Algunos de los temas que se tratarán en estas series son: La forma de estar a cargo, no en control, confiando en la sabiduría de tu cuerpo, haciendo la paz con los alimentos, qué es lo que realmente quiero comer, comer responsablemente y disminución progresiva para el cuidado personal.
