UVU is home to over 45,000 students and every student needs supplies. Whether it’s notebooks, pencils, bags or electronics. The costs of these supplies have been rising and adding to the workloads that students deal with each semester. Fortunately, there is a place on campus that won’t completely drain your wallet.

The Sorensen Center plays host to the UVU Campus Store: a student-centric place that sells a wide variety of supplies for students, such as clothing, art supplies, school supplies and even dictionaries. Because of tax laws that UVU falls under, any items sold at the Campus Store is tax free, allowing the Campus store to sell necessities to students at lower prices. The Campus Store even sells electronics, with a particular focus on Apple products, such as laptops, iPads and accompanying accessories, such as AirPods. Laptops that support Windows can also be purchased through a special order by speaking with a representative at the Campus Store. Laptops and electronic accessories that are sold at the store are tax-free, preventing students from paying hefty fees when purchasing an expensive piece of technology.

Currently, the campus store is having a back-to-school sale. If you purchase a MacBook, you can receive a pair of AirPods at no additional cost. Alternatively, you can purchase an iPad Pro or Air and receive an Apple Pencil Pro at no additional cost. Dell laptops are also available for purchase, with the company offering rebates to any student who purchases one (visit the Campus Store for additional details).

As school returns and students prepare to tackle a new semester, the added workload can cause students to feel overwhelmed by the sudden change. The Campus Store wishes to relieve some of that stress by offering less expensive and more convenient school necessities to cater to the needs of every student at UVU. The Campus Store is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additionally; they are open on the occasional Saturday throughout the semester.
