Feb. 5, 2010:
Hit-and-Run-There was a hit-and-run in parking lot “U” on campus. Police arrived on the scene and a report was filed.
Theft- A student dropped the access code to textbook materials and the code was picked up by another individual. The code has yet to be turned in.
Trespass- Two juveniles from Jordan High School were found by police on the roof of the Lossee Center. The juveniles were returned to their chaperone. There is no word on whether or not charges have been filed.
Feb. 6, 2010:
Traffic Stop- An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road. After further investigation, it was determined that the driver was operating on a suspended license due to previous violations.
Suspicious Vehicle- A patrol officer spotted a suspicious parked vehicle in parking lot “T”, after campus hours. The officer made contact with the vehicle’s occupant and after investigating determined the occupant to be under the influence of alcohol. Police determined the occupant too impaired to drive.
Feb. 9, 2010:
Anonymous Call- Officers were dispatched to a call of a suspicious male outside of the Gunther Trades building. The advising party informed police that they could smell “burnt marijuana.” The officers checked the area and found no suspicious subjects. The advising party did not want further contact and an information report was made.
Alarm- An officer was dispatched to a trouble alarm in the Student Center. The officer checked the alarm box and area; no problems were found. The alarm was reset by dispatch.
