The UVU student council (UVUSA) took time in their last meeting of the year on Thursday, April 18 to focus on next year’s council members.
School’s almost out, and the Orem community is gearing up for summer fun with activities, events and more. Here are some you may want to put on your calendar.
UVU a cappella group, Bloom, continues to make history and obtain various achievements as they prepare to compete in the International Championship.
UVUSA met Thursday April 15, to discuss a policy change that will affect the way UVU reaches out to students. These new guidelines focus on limiting the number of messages UVU students receive.
The Roots of Knowledge Speaker Series had their final event for the semester on April 11, 2024.
The Review sat down with Frank Young, associate vice president of facilities to talk about the parking situation at UVU. Speaking of the issues, Young pointed out services that students haven’t been utilizing, lots that students haven’t been parking in, and comments allegedly made by school administration on parking expansion.
UVU has many resources in place to help students be successful no matter what circumstances they come from.
“UVU has opened doors for people,” said UVU communication professor Farah Sanders, dually noting the doors UVU opened for her as well. “We offer some opportunities that are just unique.”
On Feb. 27, 2024, UVU student Manasseh McFarlane held a candlelight vigil for the victims of the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. The event has garnered hope for students at UVU wishing to make a difference.
