The following events are reported and written as recorded by UVU Police, compiled by Nathan
Evans, News Writer.
Sept. 25, 2012 – 7:27 P.M. – Crisis Assistance
Psychologist from student health services requested assistance with a person in crisis. Assistance
was provided.
Sept. 28, 2012 – 10:36 P.M. – Testing Center Theft
Officers were dispatched to a theft at the testing center. The suspect was located and the item
was recovered.
Sept. 28, 2012 – 1:14 P.M. – Suicide Note
I made contact with a complainant concerning a possible suicide note being located. It was
determined to be a suicide note. Multiple school officials were notified, and a report was taken.
Oct. 2, 2012 – 6:11A.M. – Lost Old Man
I responded to parking lot L10 on a report of an elderly male in a vehicle that appeared lost. I
made contact with the male and he stated he was trying to figure out his new vehicle with all of
the new electronic gadgets it had. No further action taken.
Oct. 2, 2012 – 10:24A.M. – Shady Prof.
Information was received in regards to the status of a professor and potentially illegal activity.
The case is ongoing.
