Monday, Nov. 10

* Biotechnology Internships – The Biotechnology Club will be holding their opening social with guest speakers from the U of U, Sorensen Forensics, Phoenix Data Systems, Myriad Pharmaceuticals and BYU. Each speaker will talk about biotechnology in their companies and internship opportunities. The social will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Library, room 213.

* Last day to withdraw from Fall 2nd Block classes.

Tuesday, Nov. 11

* Biotechnology Internships (all week long)

* The 2nd Annual Marie Clegg-Jones Speech Competition will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is open to all UVU Students. There will be cash prizes for the top three speeches. To get more information or to register, contact Janet Colvin at colvinja@uvu.edu.

* Teaching Circle: Making a Difference: Personal Essays will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Library, room 502.

Wednesday, Nov. 12

* Biotechnology Internships (all week long)

* Wolverine Wednesday! Remember to wear green and come to Center Stage at noon for J Dawgs.

* Fall Housing Fair 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the P.E. Hallway.

* The Alumni Student networking dinner will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the SC 106 A-C. Alumni and students will get the opportunity to meet each other and to discuss career paths and other pertinent information.

* Thursday, Nov. 13

* Biotechnology Internships (all week long)

* Help fight hunger in Utah by attending the 6th annual UVU Hunger Banquet on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at 6:30 P.M. in the Sorenson Student Center Grande Ballroom. The banquet will include dinners for low-income, middle-income and high-income categories. Tickets are $7 at Campus Connection. For more information, call 863-8786.

Friday, Nov. 14

* Biotechnology Internships (all week long)

* Women’s Basketball Team vs. Montana State at 4:30 in the McKay Events Center. MAWL Members get in free with an ID.

* Men’s Basketball vs. Northern Arizona at 7 p.m. in the McKay Event Center. MAWL Members get in free with an ID.

Saturday Nov. 15

* Biotechnology Internships (all week long)

* Women’s Basketball vs. Mesa State at 3 p.m. in the McKay Event Center. MAWL Members get in free with an ID.
