What is your major? Concentration?
I am graduating in English Literature and as the first minor in Cinema Studies.
What has been your most memorable moment at UVU?
My most memorable moment would have to be the MC Hammer/Vanilla Ice concert last spring because that was the second date with my now fiance, but seeing Rick McDonald do the Time Warp at the showings of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is a close second.
Biggest achievement?
My biggest achievement is probably co-founding the Cinema Studies Club and helping to bring some great film screenings to UVU.
What are your plans following graduation?
I’m getting married on 08-09-10 to a wonderful woman and pursuing my PhD to eventually become a professor myself.
What will you miss about UVU?
I will miss the covered walkways between buildings. Not having to deal with inclement weather across campus was great.
Any words of wisdom?
The predominant organized religion in this state has plenty of “words of wisdom,” many of which I disagree with, but I try to live by the immortal words of Gutter from the film “PCU,” “Classes: nothing before 11. Beer: it’s your best friend, you drink a lot. Women? You’re a freshman, so it’s pretty much out of the question.”
