The Chicago State Cougars played host on Thursday, Jan. 2, and welcomed in a very hot shooting performance by the Wolverines. UVU shot 61.4% from the floor and 52.9% from behind the arc on their way to a 94-73 win.

With another championship in mind, the team ventured to Weber State University on Dec. 6-7, to commence their indoor season. UVU entered the game having played five of the last seven games on the road and the fatigue showed as they fell to the Thunderbirds 73-72.

Reading Time: 2 minutes The Utah Valley University women’s basketball team defeated the University of Antelope Valley 77-61 on Saturday, Nov. 30 at home in the UCCU Center. This was the Wolverines first victory of the short season, snapping their five-game losing streak.
Reading Time: 2 minutes The Utah Valley men’s basketball team lost 64-61 to the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers in Emmitsburg, Maryland on Tuesday night, Nov. 26. Despite leading for the majority of the game, the Wolverines went without a field goal in the final two and a half minutes to allow a late comeback by the Mountaineers.
