One of the most important things to do is to prioritize your time and set realistic goals. For students, this means creating a study schedule that will allow them to take breaks and setting manageable goals that are not too overwhelming. It is also important to avoid procrastination and stay organized with assignments, projects, and deadlines as much as possible.

Another effective way to manage stress is by caring for your physical and mental health. This includes eating a balanced diet, getting enough sleep, exercising regularly, and practicing relaxation techniques such as meditation or yoga, stated Danielle Rossin in a recent article.

According to the American Psychological Association and  Beverly Thorn, You should also seek support from friends, family, or a counselor if you feel overwhelmed or struggle with personal issues. Having a support system to rely on will help students have less stress and be more relaxed.

In addition, engaging in activities that you enjoy and help you relax is essential. These activities could include drawing, physical activity, dancing, and meditating. It is also highly beneficial to be creative and explore different activities.

Managing stress is vital for maintaining a healthy life. Stress can affect anyone, regardless of their age or background, and can negatively impact both physical and mental health. Stress is a natural aspect of life, but it doesn’t have to take over your life. By implementing these tips and strategies into your daily routine, you can learn to manage stress and live a healthier life.

UVU offers fantastic resources for students experiencing stress. If you are looking for help, visit this site. These resources include a stress reduction room, a safe place for students to nap, meditate, practice mindfulness, yoga, light therapy, and aromatherapy. UVU Wellness also provides massage recliner chairs for a full-body relaxation massage.
