Armstrong Crashes
Seven time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong crashed and sustained a fractured collarbone, or clavicle, when he went over the top of his handlebars as part of a multi-cyclist collision near the end of the opening stage of the Vuelta a Castilla y Leon. Armstrong had surgery to help stabilize the injury and whether or not he will compete in the Tour do France is still uncertain.
