Beckham hopes to make AC Milan permanent
David Beckham is currently under contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy but is on loan to AC Milan. However, Beckham is enjoying his time in Italy so much that he wants to stay with AC Milan permanently. Milan’s vice president said he is willing to pay a fee in order to keep Beckham. The loan ends March 8, after which he is due to go back to the MLS.
Good News in Bean town
In last season’s opening game, the New England Patriots’ Tom Brady suffered a season-ending knee injury. Brady expects to be ready for the start of the 2009 season. He has been throwing, running, doing skill drills and getting back in shape. Matt Cassel led the Pats to an 11-5 record and they may use the franchise tag on him.
