Liberia was crowned Miss Africa Utah 2012 in The Miss Africa Utah Pageant. Each contestant showcased traditional dress and performed a short dance from their native countries.
UVU Students’ Kisstixx Business was featured on ABC’s Shark Tank. The team received a 200,000-dollar investment from investor Mark Cuban. Kisstixx has sold over 25,000 packages in the last year, and expects sales to increase this year by ten-fold.
