Feb. 10, 2010-

8:29 a.m.: Dispatch received a call of an allegedly suicidal escaped felon that was possibly on campus. Officers located the suspect as he exited a UTA bus and were able to take him into custody. There is no word on whether or not the individual will face charges.

3:23 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to PE 125 when a call regarding two individuals snorting a suspicious substance was received by dispatch. Police were unable to find the individuals.

10:16 p.m.: An officer witnessed two persons crossing University Parkway without using the crosswalk. Upon making contact with the persons, it was learned that one was found to be wanted on warrant.

Feb. 12, 2010-

10:58 p.m.: An adult male suspect was seen punching a hole into a wall. The suspect was arrested for criminal mischief, cited and released.

Feb. 13, 2010-

3:44 p.m.: Two persons were found yelling and screaming loudly on top of a building. The two persons ran when approached by police and were quickly caught. The juveniles were released to their guardians/parents.

Feb. 15, 2010-

11:20 p.m.: An officer made a traffic stop for a vehicle equipment violation. Upon making contact with the driver, it was suspected that they were under the influence. Upon further investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a scale. The driver was transported and booked into Utah County Jail.

Feb. 17, 2010-

9:00 a.m.: A theft was reported in Environmental Dept. room 201. There are no suspects at this time.

10:07 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of an unconscious, but breathing adult male in the computer science building. The individual was located by police and determined to be heavily intoxicated. Orem City medical and fire were dispatched to the scene. The individual was given medical attention and released at the scene. There is no word as to what charges the individual faces.

Feb. 18, 2010-

11:52 a.m.: Dispatch was informed that an adult male was being verbally abusive and argumentative in the computer science building.  Officers located the individual, who was found to be in diabetic shock. Orem medical teams provided attention at the scene. The individual was not transported and was released on scene.

Feb. 20, 2010-

12:59 a.m.: An officer performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for driving left of the center line. Upon further investigation, the driver appeared to be too impaired to drive. The driver was also found to have two outstanding warrants and was transported and booked into Utah County Jail.
