The following events are reported and written as recorded by UVU Police.
Aug. 28
12:48 p.m. – Medical Emergency
I responded to a medical in the Science Building. The patient was transported to UVRMC by Orem paramedics for further evaluation.
2:53 p.m. – Lost Property
I was dispatched to the LA Building on a property theft. I responded and met with the complainant who stated someone stole her car keys. I took the information and filed a report.
Aug. 29
1:04 p.m. – Traffic Accident, Prop Damage
A driver of a vehicle bumped a parked vehicle with his vehicle in the parking lot. He called police to report it, in case there was any damage done to the parked vehicle. The owner of the parked vehicle was contacted and information was exchanged.
1:26 p.m. – Citizen Assist
The complainant could not remember where she had parked her car. Officers helped her locate it. Case closed.
2:05 p.m. – Traffic Accident, Prop Damage
Vehicle 1 was northbound on College Drive on the east side of the library. Driver 1 did not see Vehicle 2 had stopped for a pedestrian. Driver 1 was not able to stop and hit the back of Vehicle 2.
8:26 p.m. – Traffic Accident, Prop Damage
I responded on an agent assist for a semi truck that knocked down a street sign and left the area. I responded to where Highway Patrol had stopped the semi truck. I cited the driver.
Aug. 30
11:49 p.m. – Theft
I was dispatched to the quad on a suspicious circumstance, and when I arrived I was informed of a theft. Student government was having an event and had three inflatable couches stolen. I met with the reporting party the next day and filed this report.
Aug. 31
3:44 p.m. – Medical
I responded to a medical incident in the student center. The patient had fallen off a chair and injured her knee and hip. Paramedics responded, treated and transported the patient to UVRMC. Nothing follows.
Sept. 1
11:38 p.m. – Alcohol Offense
I observed an alcohol offense in Lot 3 during the Welcome Back Dance. Two suspects fled from the area and were later identified and charged with illegal consumption.
