The following events are reported and written as recorded by UVU Police.

Aug. 21

5:03 a.m. – Impound

I was unlocking campus and noticed a door that was propped open and a vehicle outside the science building. I was unable to find an owner for the vehicle and had it towed.

1:06 p.m.- Warrant Service

Arrested one male on a warrant. Transported male to Orem Justice Court. Case Closed.

1:40 p.m. – Traffic Accident-Prop Damage

I responded to a traffic accident on College Drive near the library. I completed a DI-9.

2:47 p.m. – Animal Problem

Dispatched to dog in vehicle. Canceled while en route. Case Closed.

Aug. 22

6:33 a.m. – Welfare Check

Employee was stuck in an elevator. Upon arrival, I found no employee stuck. No action taken.

10:17 a.m. – Suspicious Person-Circumstance

I was dispatched to the Browning Administration Building on a report of a male suspect stating he wanted to kill someone. Area was checked and determined suspect had left campus. Contact was made with suspect later and a threat assessment has been initiated.

12:42 p.m. – Medical Emergency

I responded to a report of a male in a seizure in the bookstore. I arrived on scene and found that a seizure did not take place and that the male was just not feeling well. The patient was released on scene by Orem paramedics.

Aug. 24

2:19 p.m. – Theft, Automobile Motorcycle

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle out of parking lot M26. Officers met with the victim and checked both parking lots M26 and M25 for the vehicle. The vehicle was listed NCIC.

Aug. 25

6:12 p.m. – Parking Problem

I responded to a vehicle that was parking in the admissions lot, which was designated for buses only. Owner was contacted and a tow truck was requested. The owner arrived before the truck and moved the vehicle.

Aug. 27

9:18 a.m. – Medical Emergency

I responded to the Woodbury Business building on a report of a male that had fallen off his longboard and possibly broken his leg. The male suffered a back injury and was transported by ambulance to UVRMC for further evaluation.

11:00 a.m. – Found Property

A bicycle was removed from the aviation park on the northeast part of campus.

2:20 p.m. – Traffic Accident-Prop Damage

Non-reportable rear end accident.

4:58 p.m. – Lost Property

A cell phone was lost in the Losee Center. The owner wanted a police report on the lost phone.
