2/20/09- The Orem LDS Institute of Religion adjacent to the UVU Campus held a talent show on Friday evening called: “An Evening on Broadway.” Students performed scenes from Wicked, My Fair Lady, High School Musical, Les Miserables and others. Popular Broadway songs were sung and performed instrumentally, such as a rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow played on an upside-down violin, as well as Chopsticks, performed by Ellen Amatangelo & Josh Sackett. A Broadway montage was also performed by the Institute’s own talented ventriloquist, Brother Keith Longmore and his sidekick, Doug. Friends and family gathered in the Insitute’s gymnasium as they enjoyed a night of entertainment and the amazing talents of those who performed.
