Where you will be when V-Day arrives?: Events and venues to keep you company this Valentine’s Day

Are you feeling the pressure yet? If not, snap out of it because she is expecting you to sweep her off her feet this Valentine’s Day. Don’t let her down with a generic night beginning with dinner at Chili’s, proceeding to the television set, then proceeding to a breakup. Instead, let her know she is worth a night out on the town. If you haven’t yet planned the evening, here are some options that she might absolutely love. Hopefully you know her better than anyone, so give these a look-through and decide which she would most enjoy.

Feb. 2 – Feb. 13: A Thousand Cranes: Nelke Theatre, 7 p.m., $12 admission.

A contemporary adaptation of Antigone, this rendition mirrors our current political landscape  by questioning the rights of civilians in times of crisis. Feb. 12 – Feb. 27: Twelve Angry Men: Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, $22-$40 admission. A man on trial for murder is at the mercy of twelve anonymous jurors. The production examines prejudices and personal biases that stifle the American legal system and often mute the truth.

Feb. 13- March 13: The Prince, The Wolf and the Firebird: The Academy of Performing Arts, adults $14; children, students and seniors $12.
