“My qualifications for this position include a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration degree. I have spent 23 years working for both the private and public sectors in public finance. My experience includes working with all the major banks in Utah implementing treasury management tools to improve the efficiency of cash collection and disbursement.”

“Though the State’s investment have done well do to Ed Alder (the current State
Treasurer), there is room for improvement and I think I can do better. I would not change
much, but change the shift a little to looking at supply and demand in addition to what the
State has done, relying on fundamentals alone. I am an advocate of learning economics, the most influential financial influence on our lives, yet most misunderstood and neglected. I intend to make it more important, in terms of education.
