Real Salt Lake has been struggling as of late, to say the least. However, things may be making a turn for the better. On June 13 RSL beat the Los Angeles Galaxy 2-0. This not only marks RSL’s first victory in eight matches, which they dominated in a 6-0 conquest over the New England Revolution, it is also their first and only win on the road this season.

Wolverine bats humble Utes

April 13, 2009 Kyle Jellings 0

In what seemed to be the first of Utah’s baseball-permitting weather of the season, the Wolverines’ offense was stellar and they beat in-state foe, the University of Utah 8-2. Utah Valley got off to a good start scoring two runs in the bottom of the first, but the Utes would answer, scoring two in the top of the second off of two Wolverine errors and a sac fly.

Winning two of three is quite an accomplishment considering the Wolverines have had trouble on the road all season long. The wins give Utah Valley a 4-7 record on the road and a 14-10 overall record on the season.
