There are tons of resources built to help students and staff have an incredible, useful time here at our campus. Provided is an (unranked) list of ten things on campus you should utilize!
The CAREHub, located in SL 101 (under the SLWC Bridge), is the central location for those needing assistance in food, housing, and additional necessities. The hub has a fully stocked pantry that students can come as needed and select up to 12 pounds of groceries per week. They offer help and resources for emergency housing to anyone who needs it and provide materials for financial need, childcare, transportation, health, and even legal assistance.
In order to help students adjust, prepare, and succeed in their courses, the campus has multiple tutoring centers to help with difficult assignments and to build study materials. Depending on the major, you can schedule both in person and online appointments. Walk-ins are typically encouraged as well; the tutors are your classmates, eager to help you graduate.
If you’re looking for any kind of LinkedIn or resume boosters, LinkedIn Learning would be a great place to start!
