October 6, 2008 Parker Donat 0

Want “A”s, get “Z”s

October 6, 2008 Parker Donat 0

Finding the pillow, counting sheep, and “Z”s are what most college students are not getting enough of. Rather, caffeine-fueled college students cram for exams, write papers until the crack of dawn, and snooze through their classes. A trend that shows if you can’t sleep: You won’t get “A”s.

UVU’s Clough leads by example

September 29, 2008 Parker Donat 0

Jenni Clough, UVU’s leading scorer in women’s soccer, made her first goal not on a field of grass but on a field of turf — that is, she started playing soccer on an indoor soccer field. Jenni was invited by a friend who wanted her to play indoor soccer with her.

Experience will play big role on women’s soccer team

August 24, 2008 Parker Donat 0

Despite having a shaky 6-13-1 season last year, the women’s soccer team remarkably pulled it together by winning the United Soccer Conference tournament. This was the first conference win for UVU women’s soccer. So what can be expected this year? Coach Anderson replied, “We’re looking to repeat as champions.” With only nine upper classman and 20 freshmen and sophomores, this year the wolverines look to achieve greater expectations by winning more games and repeating as conference champions.
