This month, UVSC’s intramural department has created a challenging scavenger hunt for athletic students, with a grand prize of two hundred dollars.

With the holiday season approaching, one of the lesser known, but still anticipated games is going to be competing for our seasonal cash. But before one were to indulge in this game,  one would need to make themselves acquainted with a Resident Evil title already available on the Wii: Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition.

The  whitewater experience of most students at UVSC is limited to a single magical ride on Splash Mountain at Disneyland. Few students know that the physical education and recreation department offer a whitewater kayaking class that is open to all students, regardless of their major.

In one of my classes this year, I learned that, as a society, when we’re going by dates, we no longer use B.C. and A.D. to distinguish one from the other. B.C.E. and A.C. the new "politically correct" terms, meaning Before Common Era and After Common (I guess the "Era" is implied).

Sandwiched in between mega retail stores Gap and Nordstrom in the University Mall is a most unexpected cultural experience sponsored by UVSC.Many students are unaware of the existence of the off-campus Woodbury Art Museum, home to a multitude of works by professional artists across Utah.

For all those Wii owners, it’s not hard to keep one’s game on when a plethora of old school games are readily available on the Virtual Console (provided one has the funds to buy Wii-points).It’s a blessing to be able to revisit all the games you remember playing as a kid, and have the opportunity to play those not-so-popular gems you might have missed out on.
