Men’s golf has shone brilliantly through 2022-23 season

Reading Time: 2 minutes Despite a strong start to their spring season, Utah Valley men’s golf tied for 14th after traveling to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to participate on March 2-3 in the Fort Lauderdale Intercollegiate.
Reading Time: 2 minutes The two-day, 54-hole event was hosted by fellow WAC competitor California Baptist at Goose Creek Golf Club. The course is a challenging par-70 with a 6,839-yard first and second round and a 6,728-yard final round. The tournament featured three awards: an individual medal, a team trophy and an All-Five Team Champion — awarded to the team who has the lowest combined score of all five golfers.

Local teams included Southern Utah, Utah State and Weber State; individuals were also sent from Brigham Young and Utah. UVU also competed against Air Force, Creighton, North Dakota, Northern Colorado, Seattle, Stetson, Western Illinois and Youngstown State.
