Mission

The UVU Review upholds the highest standards of collegiate journalism through our core values of Excellence, Accuracy, and Integrity. We pursue excellence in all reporting and digital content, verify information meticulously to ensure accuracy, and operate with unwavering integrity in our journalism practices. Through these values, we serve as both a trusted voice for students and a reliable information source connecting all members of the UVU community.

History

The UVU Review has evolved alongside Utah Valley University, chronicling the institution’s journey from technical college to state college, and finally to university status in 2008. Throughout these transitions, the Review has remained a consistent voice for students, adapting from traditional print to digital journalism while documenting campus events and student life. For decades, the publication has provided valuable journalism experience for students while serving as the primary news source for the UVU community.
