Reading Time: < 1 minute NFL wants to play more NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is proposing a plan to NFL owners to raise the amount of games in a regular season from 16 to 17 or 18 games. The proposal would also make it so there are fewer preseason games. Goodell said that the league does not need four exhibition games anymore.

This invitational will take them through the remainder of their season, which will go through the end of this semester.

Wolverines suffer early-season woes

Reading Time: 2 minutes The Utah Valley Wolverines’ baseball team had their first home stand of the season, winning three and losing three against Northern Colorado and St. John’s. Utah Valley then flew to Spokane, Washington to face Gonzaga in a four-game series in which they were swept.

UVU hosts’ only home rodeo of the season

Reading Time: 2 minutes The UVU Rodeo Team hosts their sole “home game” of the spring season this weekend in Heber, giving fans and newbies alike a chance to watch top-ranked UVU athletes compete in one of the final rodeos of the season. The three-day rodeo at the Wasatch County Special Events Center in Heber will be the second-to-last rodeo for Wolverine competitors to qualify for the National Collegiate Rodeo Championships, and coach Shane Draper says that his teams are in a good spot to earn a trip to Nationals in June.

Reading Time: < 1 minute Cutler Demands Trade Pro Bowl quarterback Jay Cutler of the Denver Broncos has asked to be traded. Cutler was upset because the Broncos were willing to trade him in order to acquire Matt Cassel, and when that trade fell through there was still bad blood. Cutler refused to show up for the first team meeting of the year and hopes to never have to show up again.
