The Chicago State Cougars played host on Thursday, Jan. 2, and welcomed in a very hot shooting performance by the Wolverines. UVU shot 61.4% from the floor and 52.9% from behind the arc on their way to a 94-73 win.

Reading Time: 3 minutes We’re pushing towards the end of November and each of the WAC winter sports are well under way, meaning it’s near closing time for WAC fall sports. There have already been champions crowned in men’s and women’s soccer, and a volleyball champion will have been decided by the end of the Nov. 22 weekend. What a run it has been for WAC fall sports in 2019!
Reading Time: 2 minutes Utah Valley men’s soccer saw their 2019 season extended by at least one more match on Friday, Nov. 15, against Air Force Academy because of penalty kicks. But had their season come to a close on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 17, against Seattle University due to penalty kicks. The Redhawks then earned the WAC title and an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament.

Reading Time: 2 minutes An 87th minute goal and a 99th minute golden goal by Seattle University ended Utah Valley’s 2019 season and a chance at an NCAA tournament berth. The game took place on Sunday, Nov. 10, at Championship Field in Seattle. UVU hung on to a 1-0 lead for almost 56 minutes before SU tied it late, and eventually sealed it in overtime by a score of 2-1.
Reading Time: 2 minutes “If you look at the skill set of our players from Trey Woodbury, to JJ Overton, to Isaiah White, obviously our guards Ege, TJ, Brandon, this is a skill set of guys where all four guys can lead the break,” said Madsen. “They can put the ball on the floor, they can make really sound decisions. So I think having so many different players that are versatile really helps us in that regard.”
