Their road trip began in New Jersey against NJIT on Feb. 12 when they picked up a big 70-58 win. This win continued their winning streak bringing it to six straight games.
Reading Time: 2 minutes The Wolverine wrestling team ended their 2008-09 season with a win, a school record. UVU performed a classic beating against the Air Force Academy 36-6. UVU also broke the school record for the most wins in a season with 11. The team managed to win eight of the 10 total bouts against Air Force.

The Wolverines are now 10-3 overall and 3-1 in the Western Wrestling Conference, but still have reason to rejoice with a roster full of freshman and sophomores that are likely to improve with time.

That doesn’t look to be the case as Tracy McGrady has announced that he will miss the remainder of the season with knee problems that will require microfracture surgery.

Winning two of three is quite an accomplishment considering the Wolverines have had trouble on the road all season long. The wins give Utah Valley a 4-7 record on the road and a 14-10 overall record on the season.
Reading Time: 2 minutes Utah Valley University’s softball team opened its season with a win, 6-5, over in-state rival Southern Utah at the Red Desert Classic in St. George. The Wolverines played five big name teams and won against two. This year Wolverine softball will be fun to watch.
