With love in the air and a lack of money in student’s pockets, the LDS Institute of Religion will give everyone a chance to get a date on Valentine’s weekend – and its free.
On Friday, Feb. 11, the Valentine Date Dance will provide a chance for couples to get an early start on the holiday weekend and perhaps allow them to spark some interest before the national day of love.
The dance will be in the gym and will include food for the event. It will run from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Dress for the event is semi-formal and a date is required to get in.
One of the highlights of the event will be a 20-piece band that will play live through the night. Throughout the rest of the institute building, there will be other events going on.
Tickets are available from institute teachers and only one ticket is needed per couple.
