After this week, each will have just one regular season game remaining prior to their respective conference tournaments. While the women will remain on campus and host rematches against New Mexico State University and the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, the men will be paying a visit to those teams’ home courts. The wrestling team is off this week as they prepare for the Big 12 Championships beginning March 4. The men’s basketball team will begin their two-game home stand Thursday when they welcome CSUB, with tipoff coming at 7 p.m. In their first meeting on Jan. 21, the Wolverines fell 68-65 when Brandon Randolph’s potential game-tying 3-pointer didn’t fall. The basketball teams of UVU are entering the portion of Western Athletic Conference play in which they will be playing their second games with conference foes. While the women will welcome Missouri – Kansas City and Chicago State to campus, the men will be wrapping up a three-game road swing on the same opponents’ home courts. Meanwhile, the wrestling team will play host to a top-25 squad as well as a Big 12 Conference foe.
