Men’s Golf take 6th at Ram Masters

The Ram Masters Invitational in Fort Collins, Colorado took place this past Monday and Tuesday. The Wolverines placed sixth over all (876) which had them finishing ahead of nine other teams who competed.

Host Colorado State took home the tournament title with a 15-over par (855). Following them were Kansas in second at 859, Denver with third at 862, Nevada placing fourth with 867, and McNeese State rounding it out in fifth at 870.

Out of the five athletes that UVU brought to the tournament only one made the top 20 list. Brayden Eriksen tied for seventh with a score of 214 which is 4 over par. The whole tournament was cleanly played by all the Wolverine athletes as well as all those representing the other teams. The point differenced between UVU’s JT Timmons, Blair Bursey, and Mike Dart was three and all three men where at 12 over par or below. These male athletes tied for 29, tied for 31, and tied for 37 respectively.

The gentlemen Wolverines will return to Colorado in compete in the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational on September 29-30.
