Letter from The V: January 24, 2011
Hey Folks,
A plan is a list of things that don’t happen. Obstacles arise, busses are late, personalities change, and your HMO won’t cover any of it. The difference between a logistical nightmare and a smooth operation often rests on your cognitive shoulders.
This weeks V is all about thinking outside of the box. Sometimes that box is filled with frayed shoelaces, crumpled receipts, and bent bottle caps—nothing that will help your situation. Your art gallery is in the middle of nowhere? Shuttle patrons down on a party bus. Don’t want your baby born in a drug-induced haze? Fire your doctor, and get a midwife. Obviously party busses and Midwives can’t solve all of your problems, but it’s a start.
Learn what stuff is lurking outside your box and inside others.
Go you wolverines,
