Popular folk artist Peter Breinholt to perform benefit

The Wasatch communities of Heber and Midway are the perfect place to embrace nature, do a little shopping and perhaps have a little romantic getaway a local hotel. But there is another reason to head up to the mountains: Peter Breinholt is performing a concert on June 29 to benefit the Wasatch Community Foundation.
Breinholt has been described as “the closest thing Utah has to music phenomenon.” He learned to play the piano and the guitar at the age of eleven and graduated from the University of Utah in 1993. He may most accurately be described as a folk artist, but he has also performed with many symphonies, orchestras and choirs around the world, including the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in an event broadcasted worldwide.
His songs has been heard during CNN stories, movie trailers and television programs and as part of several film scores. A taste of his musical merits can be found on his “Best of” CD, released last year.
Breinholt’s music has spread far and wide, and he has become known for his globetrotting performances. His wide fan base testifies of his multi-generational appeal.
The Midway Foundation of Art, who are sponsoring the event, has a vision of “passion for excellence and unwillingness to settle for average.” This is certainly true in their collaboration with Peter Breinholt, an event that can be looked forward to.
