The team wins mark the second consecutive meet that both Wolverine squads have taken home first place.

Reading Time: 2 minutes Home field advantage is supposed to help a team, but until the women’s soccer team played a couple of United Soccer Conference games at the end of the season on Wolverine Field, the comforts of home weren’t doing the job. Before Utah Valley’s game against the New Jersey Institute of Technology, a 5-0 Wolverine win, the team was outscored 10-1 on its home turf.

The old sports cliché of throwing out the records couldn’t be truer in the Wolverines situation this season.

Yet, only 6,000 have been issued this year as opposed to 8,000 last year."Paying $80 for a parking pass sucks," stated student Joyce Jacox, "But when you consider the amount of time you waste waiting for the bus to come and fill up with people, and then if you have to walk across campus to your classes, it’s just a big waste of time.

United Way volunteer opportunities
