Utah Blaze hire new head coach

Danny White resigned from the position of Utah Blaze head coach with a 21-30 record after his third season, a season that failed once again to net a single playoff win. His replacement will be former assistant coach Ron James, who served as defensive coordinator for the past two seasons. James has spent 11 years in the Arena Football League and was head coach of the Las Vegas Gladiators for two seasons.

Childress heads overseas

Former Atlanta Hawk Josh Childress is taking his game across the Atlantic Ocean, having signed a deal with the Greek club Olymiakos. The Hawks offered him a contract worth nearly 36 million dollars, but Childress turned it down to sign the most lucrative contract in Euroleague history. With the strength of the Euro against the dollar, Childress will be able to make more money overseas.
