Huskies coach calls it quits

After dropping to 0-7 with last week’s loss to Notre Dame, Tyrone Willingham, the coach of the Washington Huskies, announced that he would step down at the end of the season. Willingham has been on the hot seat for some time now as his team is a measly 11-32 under his tutelage. The Huskies are also tied for the longest losing streak in the nation, dating back to last season at nine games.

Fantasy-football tycoon Johnson faces assault charges

Adding to the list of assault charges brought against Kansas City Chiefs’ running back Larry Johnson is his latest altercation that took place on Oct. 10. The star running back allegedly spit his drink into a woman’s face, resulting in a simple assault charge. Johnson, who has been sidelined by a suspension for violating team rules, has had several run-ins with women that have left him with a variety of assault charges.
