Pair of Wolverines Finish in Top 25 at Cal Poly Tournament

A 5-over 76 resulted in a twenty-third place finish for Monica Baldwin at the Firestone Grill College Invitational. Five other golfers including teammate Monica Fox finished right alongside her to wrap up the invitational held at the Monarch Dunes Golf Club.

The Wolverines finished ninth overall after shooting a team-best 324 in the final round of the two-day, 54-hole tournament.

Baldwin’s 76 was the lowest score of the tournament for a Wolverine golfer. Abbie Lei Archibald finished three shots behind her two teammates tying for thirty-second.

Up next for the Wolverines will be the Utah Collegiate Shootout featuring both the men’s and women’s teams from five of the six D-I golf programs in Utah on Oct. 17 in St. George.
