With all the hours in class and tedious study outside of class, it can be difficult to find a way to release all the stress and weight that comes from the first couple weeks of school. 30 Seconds to Mars is set to shake up campus for the mtvU Campus Invasion Tour on the evening of Sept. 25 and give students that much needed break. Originating from Los Angeles, 30 Seconds to Mars comes equipped with an alternative hard rock edge that is guaranteed to please any high-energy crowd. Formed in 1998 and with a solid discography of three studio albums, this trio has crossed the country with acts like The Used and Cobra Starship. Lead singer Jared Leto started out as an actor, with roles in the films including Fight Club, Requiem for a Dream and American Psycho.
So take the weekend and university strain off and come out to experience high-powered rock, supported by Neon Trees and New Politics.
