Each year a local beneficiary is chosen and spotlighted. The beneficiaries of The Vagina Monologues ticket sales have been Turning Point at UVSC, Promise for Women and Children, the Donner/Galbraith Scholarship, House of Hope, and this year’s Center for Women and Children in Crisis.

The Vagina Monologues will be performed Tuesday, February 26th at 7:00 p.m. in the Ragan Theatre. Tickets are available at Campus Connection. This will be a fun night for an amazing cause.

The Center for Women and Children in Crisis has two locations in Utah County that provide basic shelter services, advocacy, sexual assault services, child programs, and other services. They also offer 24-hour domestic violence and rape crisis hotlines.

The Center has an amazing after-care program of group and private therapy that lasts up to a year for victims who have left the shelter. The Center also provides housing assistance and educational programs like the weekly sexual assault education class for victims and their loved ones. If you or anyone you know has been raped or sexually assaulted in any way, there is help. Call (801) 356-2511 or (888) 421-1100. More info is available at http://www.cwcic.org
