By creating online flashcards on your mobile device, the app StudyBlue allows instant access to them wherever you go and users can share flashcards with other students across the country.

After downloading the free app and creating a free account with studyblue.com, you have instant access to create cards and study with others in your class. This feature allows classmates to collaborate and ask questions to be fully prepared for their next big test.

“StudyBlue helps student’s learn better. Learn together. And get smarter,” according to the developer’s website.

Regular paper flashcards do not offer the same features as StudyBlue, such as creating cards with pictures, text and audio, which can help the user learn in their own way.

Study reminders can help you remember when you need to study. Other features help keep score of the cards you answer right or wrong.

The app is available in the iTunes App Store, Android Market and the Amazon App Store.
