The campus bus shuttle system has introduced seven new stops to the previous route, which had only one stop. With the new additions, one would expect it to be much easier to get around campus; however, many students feel the change was not an improvement.

In a recent poll of 100 students, 64 said they feel that instead of just being dropped off at the Sorensen Student Center, they now simply end up waiting for the bus out in the cold. The other 34 students feel that the bus stop locations are adequate for their needs.

The current route only has two shuttles that drive in a continuous circle around the entire campus. This means that the buses have more ground to cover before they are able to return to pick up the next group of students.

Whether the change is permanent or not depends on the UVUSA Student Government. Contact UVUSA in SC105 with any complaints, compliments, or questions.
