The results are in—the Obama Administration uses social media significantly more than the Romney administration. It may be because he’s president or that Romney isn’t fully on the social media boat yet, but when it comes to the Internet, President Obama and his campaign are much more active.

With over 26,000 subscribers and 27 million video views on its YouTube channel, Romney’s campaign channel is eclipsed by the Obama campaign’s history of over 200,000 subscribers and almost 254 million video views.

That’s not to mention Twitter, where Obama surpasses Romney’s 1.5 million followers with over 21 million. Since Oct. 9, the president’s Twitter account has published and re-tweeted up to over 100 tweets a day. Romney’s highest stands at 14.
