Jan. 16 – DISORDLY CONDUCT – UVU Police responded to a report of a fight at College Drive in Orem. Officers arrived on the scene and found a male and female arguing while standing in the middle of the road. Both were charged with disorderly conduct.

Jan. 21 – MEDICAL – A UVU maintenance employee fell off a ladder while working alone in the Administration Building at around 2:30 a.m. The employee regained consciousness and was able to call 911. The employee was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Jan. 23 – THEFT – A 23-year-old male was arrested after reportedly stealing five books from a room in the Pope Science Building. The suspect attempted to sell the books to a local textbook retailer. The same suspect was arrested several years ago for stealing an ATM from the McKay Events Center.

Jan. 25 – MEDICAL – UVU Police and Orem Paramedics responded to parking lot “H” due to an employee that had fallen of a tractor and injured her back. The employee was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Jan. 26 – FIRE ALARM – Construction crews cutting cement in the Gunther Trades building created a large amount of dust, which caused the fire alarm to activate.
